RSU History

In 2016 the center of Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems was established in the Red Sea University. it is including a number of units of various colleges. The unit has been involved with local and regional research projects including: • National Environmental Moni- toring Program. • Assessment of present status of the environment in Port Sudan harbor. • Environmental Baseline Study for Mersa EL- SheikhIbrahim (Anew Port Planned for livestock and fishes export . • The Ocean Data and Informa- tion Network for Africa (ODIN- AFRICA): Africa Coastal and Ma- rine Atlases. • El khair Oil Terminal environ- mental baseline study.
